Gaute Juliussen,
Founder and Managing
Partner
Mr. Juliussen is responsible for the strategic management and
development of Hyde Park Capital (HPC). Prior to founding HPC in 2008,
Mr. Juliussen spent 15 years in the USA in corporate restructurings,
private equity, and as a CEO/founder of high growth companies, and 6
years in London, Italy and Norway focused mainly on corporate finance
and M&A advisory assignments within the metals & mining and oil
& gas industries. Key empoyers include General Electric Capital,
Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Schlumberger, Aker Reinertsen and
Procorp.
He holds an MBA in finance with Distinction from Columbia Business
School, an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian Institute
of Technology, and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
from University of California Santa Barbara. He served 3 years as a
part-time Associate Professor of Finance at the MBA programme at the
University of Phoenix in California.
Mr. Juliussen is a graduate from the Army Officer School in Norway and
his rank upon departure was Lieutenant. He is a member of the UK
Securities & Investment Institute (SII) and holds a SII Level 3
Certificate in Investments.
Hans
Ole
Loerup,
Partner
Mr. Loerup focuses on engagements in natural resources including
renewable
energy and oil and gas services and technologies for HPC. Since 2006 he
has been a managing director of Norsk Dansk Vind AS and a part owner
and business development adviser at leading high-performance small wind
turbine company Gaia
Wind. Prior to
that he has almost 20 years of senior management experience from oil
and gas exploration and production, including as Supply Chain Manager
with BP plc internationally.
He holds a Sloan Masters
degree in
Leadership, Strategy and New Ventures with Distinction from the London
Business School, and a
Bachelors Degree in Offshore / Mechanical Engineering with Honors from
Heriott Watt University.
Philip
Price,
Partner
Mr.
Price brings to HPC nearly 20 years of senior financial services
management experience from leading City of London institutions as well
as from several leading capital management institutions based in
offshore financial centres including Guernsey and Hong Kong. In 2008 he
co-founded the UK-based management consulting and executive search firm Price Seaton Ltd., where he is
still a partner.
Mr. Price holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree with Honors from
University College London and is a qualified representative of the UK
Financial Services Authority.
Saeed
Raja,
Senior
Adviser
Mr. Raja is a senior advisor to HPC focusing on identifying key future
Information Technology winners and advising on commercialization of
such enterprises. He is based in San Jose, California, and is currently
Director of Product Management at the Virtual Computing Environment
coalition (VCE), a joint venture of Cisco and EMC, along with VMware
and Intel - focused on speeding adoption of pervasive Data Centre
Virtualization and Private Cloud infrastructures.
His previous background was as a Marketing Executive with EMC, as a New
Ventures Investment Manager with Intel Capital, and as Vice President
of corporate Finance with JP Morgan's high technology practice based in
San Francisco.
Mr. Raja holds an MBA in
finance and management from Columbia Business School, and a Bachelors of Economics degree
from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in Pakistan.
